Hello friends,

A few days ago I tried a different twist on Princess Leia-type double buns.  I put them a little bit lower and centered more toward the back, and held them in place with one large hair clip.

Hey everybody,

Here is my look for today~ I did double buns with a twist: One side with slanted lace braids, and the other side with a smooth low side-ponytail.  I think I will definitely be doing this one again, as it's one of my favorite double bun looks so far!

Minnie Mouse Buns and Flower Fairies

Another Disney post!  I think I'm coming to the end of pictures I had stored up after our vacation :-)

At Epcot we saw these flower fairies~ they were so cute!  One of them had a long ponytail-braid~

Now for my Minnie Mouse buns~ do you recognize the background?  It's the pictures Rapunzel painted on her tower in the Magic Kingdom :-)

Simple Double Bun Updo

Hey everybody,

I may seem to do this look a lot~ but it's one of my favorites!  I love double buns because they are kind of cute, and they also frame your face from the front which is a bonus when you have long hair.  It's too easy to have an elaborate view from behind, while the front looks bare and scraped back!

Anyway, my simple double bun look:

Double Braided Buns~ a favorite of mine!

I hope you're having a wonderful week-end.  Here are some pictures of one of my favorite hairstyles when I'm in a hurry or short on inspiration~ double buns :-)

First I made small English braid on each side.  Then I divided my hair into two equal sections and made Indian style braids.  But I crossed the left accent braid over to the right side, and added it to that Indian braid. I did the same thing on the other side.  I wrapped the Indian style braids up into two braided buns.  Here are some pictures:
